I believe my design inspiration comes from observing and questioning everything around me. Immersing myself in hands-on human centred research brings my best ideas to life.
During my time at the University of the West of England studying BA Creative Product Design, I loved learning about the industry of design, working with like-minded people and pushing myself to grow. Throughout my degree, I have developed an extensive understanding of design thinking and research that would allow me to bring a new outlook to problems.
Being a naturally curious and empathetic person, design research and user experience really captures my imagination through the investigation of new areas in design, leading to the discovery of opportunities that make a difference within the world that we live in. For me, that is what design is all about. I enjoy the entire process of design research, from visually communicating my ideas through a range of skills such as drawing, modelling, Adobe software, and CAD. Through to critical evaluating my work and the execution of thoroughly researched human-centred design solutions.
As the majority of University studies have been online over the past year, working individually and collaboratively within groups across multiple projects has pushed me to be even more adaptable, organised and driven to deliver each deadline to the highest of standards. This challenging experience has taught me that my positive mindset and adaptable nature enables me to thrive, no matter the circumstances.
Being a keen traveller myself, I have backpacked around ten European cities immersing myself with as much art, design, culture, and architecture as possible, while journaling the whole experience. An eye-opening adventure, which solidified my enthusiasm for design and exploring the world. I am passionate about making new discoveries and collating design research influenced by the world and its fascinating stories.
Finally, I am an extremely driven person with a core desire to help shape our future through design and research. I am looking for the opportunity to grow my practical knowledge and experience, and to maximize my true potential, within a supportive team in a real working environment.

WORK EXPERIENCE
KIN, Design Consultancy - 2021
Three week live project, designing with KIN’s brief for Wilkos. This experience was fantastic as I was able to have an insider’s perspective as to how the industry works. I worked collaboratively within a team whilst adhering to a strict time frame in order to meet the deadline and subsequently presented the design ideas to the KIN and Wilko team.
