Over summer I built a rock climbing wall with my brother, to improve our wood working skills and encourage us to become better climbers. It took 2 weeks to fully complete but even now I still make new handholds so the route is forever changing. We were worried about weather damage so attached tarpaulin to the outside and it can collapse down in the winter months to be stored away. I was worried about the shear stress on the bolts holding the legs against the wall however, I worked out the factor of safety would be over 36 times stronger.
